Per ticket, yes. In Australia Eventbrite’s published service fee is 5.35% + $1.19 per ticket, and ours is $1 for the punter plus 2.5% from you. On a $25 ticket the total fees are about $2.53 on Eventbrite and $1.62 with us. Our hosted website costs $35 a month. Eventbrite has no monthly fee unless you add an Eventbrite Pro marketing plan.
Possibly. Eventbrite’s marketplace and ads can bring in people who’ve never heard of you, and we don’t have a marketplace. Most comedy audiences come from your own website, socials, mailing list and venues, and Funny Little Shows is built around those. If marketplace discovery is a big part of your sales, keep that in mind.
Yes. Punters can opt-in at checkout or through a sign-up form on your website. You can then build segments (for example, everyone who saw a particular artist) and send campaigns with buy buttons pulled straight from your program. Results show opens, clicks and the ticket sales each campaign brought in.
Yes. Each show can link to external ticketing, so a show sold through Eventbrite still appears in your program and on your website.
With Funny Little Shows, ticket money goes into your own Stripe account at the time of sale, and Stripe pays it out to your bank on its rolling schedule. Eventbrite pays out after the event by default, and offers pre-event payouts to organisers who’ve already run a paid event and received a payout.
